THE wedding of Sarah Greenaway, eldest daughter of Philip and Mandy Greenaway, of Greenford, Germansweek, and Neil Dennis, eldest son of Bill and Chris Dennis, of Slaley, Northumberland, took place at St Germanus Church, Germansweek, on July 12.
The Rev Stuart Wilson conducted the ceremony and Mrs Brenda Harris was organist.
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a full length, ivory silk gown with scattered crystals on diagonal ruching from bodice to waist, a full length veil and a crystal and pearl headband. She carried a trailing bouquet of pink and ivory roses, Singapore orchids, freesias and china grass.
The bridesmaids, Joanne Greenaway, Rosie Greenaway, bride's sisters, Laura Dennis, bridegroom's sister, and Ruth Farmer, bride and bridegroom's friend, wore dusky pink, A-line, knee-length dresses and carried ivory and pink hand-tied roses.
The best man was Keith McGregor, bridegroom's best friend and business partner, and ushers were Simon Haynes and Simon Bignell.
The reception was held at Reed Hall, Exeter, and the couple spent their honeymoon in the Maldives.
The chocolate rose avalanche wedding cake was made and decorated by the bride's sister, Rosie Greenaway.
