BERE Ferrers' Community Saturday shop and café recently celebrated its fourth anniversary with a handmade birthday cake.

The church hall was packed with people viewing the usual stalls along with a few extras selling fruit and vegetables, fair trade goods, cakes, cards and even pet food.

The anniversary was a great success due to excellent organisation, goodwill and support from regular shoppers.
