FORMER pupils, parents, staff and governors are all invited to the 180th anniversary celebrations of Mary Tavy and Brentor Community Primary School next Wednesday (June 29).

The theme of the celebration is Victorian, with Victorian lessons, entertainment and crafts throughout the school day.

Headteacher Nicky Pratten said: ‘Our school was established in 1836 and we are still in the original building — although there have been obvious changes to bring it into the 21st century.

‘Our school is a small, but thriving happy village school and we would love to share memories with people who have any sort of connection to the school.’
