JUDGING by the amount of fireworks that were discharged over the days before and after bonfire night, it would appear there are many people who do not know the correct date for the ?celebration?.
Perhaps I could inform them that November 5 is the correct date.
If people insist on upholding this tradition then they could at least adhere to the official date. Then perhaps those of us who value our right to peace and quiet would only be exposed to this noise pollution once a year, instead of many, many times.
This year has been made worse by fireworks being discharged on two Sundays running, one being Remembrance Sunday.
Do these same people also celebrate Christmas day on dates other December 25?
