DANIEL Kane from Hyde, Manchester at Anglers Paradise at Halwill on holiday, had a superb week including breaking the complex record with a leather carp of 37lb 8oz.
The angler also caught a 32lb linear carp from the specimen carp lake — both fish breaking his previous personal best.
Dan caught the fish on main line cell boilees with a sprinkling of freebies and pellet. He had a total of five carp more than 20lbs as well as numerous smaller fish.
