A MEDIEVAL castle designed by Lydford Primary School children is being opened this Sunday, August 12 at 11am and children are invited as part of the August National Trust Promotion, 'Kids Go Free'.

There is a great hall, a dungeon and a tower, and hats will be available to dress up in, swords to do battle with and shields to design and paint. The whole family can enjoy a great day out.

There is a special menu for children throughout August, Lydford Munch Bowl — potato wedges topped with cheese, plus a free milk lolly with every child's meal.
