A SUCCESSFUL coffee morning raised several hundred pounds and counting for hearing dogs.

The Paws for Coffee morning in Callington raised £251 towards training hearing dogs, and organiser Wendy Johnson said money was still coming in.

She said: 'We had cream teas, coffee and cheese scones, a bring and buy sale and a plant sale. Two fully trained hearing dogs and a puppy who was being socialised were at the morning.

'Big thanks go to all who attended and made the morning a success, to Callington Methodist Church for their kind support and donation, all traders and to my tireless band of helpers. The morning was only from 10am to noon and we raised £200 which was fantastic.'
