A?FANCY dress parade heralded the start of the Buckland Monachorum Summer Fair last weekend with the theme of cartoon characters. The parade was led by the Tavistock Stannary Brass Band and this was followed by Maypole dancing by St Andrew's Primary?School pupils, the Buckland Soapbox Derby through the village street and plenty of side stalls and attractions including a bouncy castle, a hog roast and grand draw. Plenty of fun was had by all.
