THE 110 year history of Hatherleigh Carnival will be the focus of an exhibition and film show this weekend.

Carnival photographer Geoff Hodgkinson will be presenting his photographs of the 2013 carnival on Saturday, March 1. The show will be combined with an exhibition of past carnival photographs and memorabilia.

Anyone who has any pictures or carnival mementoes they would like to put in the exhibition can bring them on the day or call Louise Bater on 01837 811255 to collect them.

The event starts at 2pm in Old Schools, and runs there until 5pm. Geoff Hodgkinson's picture show takes place at 3pm. The event will then continue in the George Hotel from 7pm.

Organiser Louise Bater said: 'We hope that with holding it in the afternoon and evening, it will give everyone the opportunity to come along at some time and enjoy reminiscing about the many wonderful times this evert has given everyone.'
