TAVISTOCK Lions Club members are appealing for anyone who may know the whereabouts of one of their carnival banners which was stolen from a site in Pixon Lane sometime between Friday, July 3 and Monday, July 6.

Lions Club member Steve Grummitt had permission to hang the banner on the fence outside BS and JS Williams, but heard that the banner had been stolen on Monday.

Mr Grummitt said the banner was not new but would cost £100 to replace.
