A MAN had a lucky escape on Monday after his vehicle plummeted 30 metres down a bank off the bends towards Chillaton.

He managed to leave his vehicle unassisted and unharmed, and waited for emergency services to attend the scene.

Two crews from Tavistock attended just after 8.45am and made the vehicle safe.
