SIXTY-year-old Roger Hewitt from Tavistock will be running his sixth London marathon on April 21.

He will be running to raise funds for HeartSWell, a charity committed to supporting heart patients and their carers.

A worker for Cardiac Cath' Labs at Derriford Hospital, Mr Hewitt said: 'This is an appropriate charity to support due to the work it does helping both patients and staff'.

Mr Hewitt recently ran in the Lanhydrock half marathon and the Duchy 20 miles and hopes to finish the upcoming marathon in a reasonable time.
