A TAVISTOCK lady is appealing for anyone who may have found a ring of sentimental value to her to get in touch.

The lady lost her engagement ring, which is gold with a blue sapphire and a diamond either side, after taking it off and putting it in her handbag. She later found the zip of her bag was undone and the ring was gone.

The ring has great sentimental value to her, as her husband died three years ago. She doesn't know exactly when or where she lost it but asks if anyone picked up a ring of this description to call her on 01822 617207.
