HOMEBUYERS have set up camp in order to purchase one of the former Ministry of Defencehomes at Annington Ridge, Horrabridge, which go on sale tomorrow (Friday). The 20 detached and semi-detached houses start at £154,950 and are being sold by Annington Homes. Their regional sales manager, Janice Barnfather, said that with a week to go three prospective buyers had set up camp and the company was bracing itself for futher interest from first-time buyers. The homes will be sold on a first come, first served basis to the general public on the first day of sale, eliminating bidding wars, gazumping and lengthy negotiations, Ms Barnfather said. The properties have gas central heating systems, new front doors and canopies, new carpets and vinyl, and uPVC double glazed windows.
