Tavistock Cricket Club completed its very successful league season with promotion for the first and second XIs and a presentation to Beuran Hendricks, who leaves the club to fly back to South Africa this week.

Club president Stuart Munday and chairman's wife Janet Jarman presented Beuran with a framed team photo, a signed book by former test umpire David Shepherd and a Manchester United shirt.

Beuran has been a great asset to the club and has contributed greatly to promotion.

All at the club wished him the best of luck on his return to his native country.

The president also congratulated first XI captain Andy Gauler and second XI captain John McGahey on their successful season taking both teams back to the A divisions.
