Weir Quay Sailing Club cadets celebrated the end of a busy and eventful year that included camping trips, races, cruises both up and down river and were challenged by a wide range of weather conditions.

The cadets and families held a social evening at Bere Ferrers Church Hall where prizes were awarded. John Gozzard who completed the Jester Azores Challenge in 2008, a single handed race to the Azoress presented the prizes.
