A WOMAN was airlifted off a tor after hurting her ankle on Saturday, March 1.

The Devon Air Ambulance landed at Brentor, near Brentor Church, and airlifted the Tavistock woman who had slipped and injured her ankle.

The woman was transferred to road ambulance after being lifted off the tor.

It was the third trip out for the air ambulance that morning, and the first day operating as the new DAAT (Devon Air Ambulance Trust).
