THE young people of Callington Methodist Church have had a busy few weeks raising money for worthy causes.

Shea Jackson, aged eight, organised a fantastic coffee morning to raise money for the NSPCC with delicious cup cakes and a stall selling merchandise and gifts.  A total of £560 was raised.

The junior breakfast club held a Christmas makes and bakes morning and twelve children were kept busy making mince pies, buns, biscuits, cards, tags and table decorations.  All their hard work was rewarded after the Sunday service when they sold their goods and raised a total of £150 for the DEC Ebola Crisis Appeal.

Thanks go to everyone who supported the youngsters.
