Colyton U11s 0 Okehampton Argyle U11s 9 OKEHAMPTON started their season, having newly joined the East Devon League, with this away match. The team have worked hard at pre-season training to adapt to the new leagues rules which involves larger pitches, increased length of play, now 30 minutes a half and the introduction of the offside rule. Argyle started slowly, taking a while to settle although never looking in danger of conceding a goal. The scoring was opened by Ben Bickle who shot home from the edge of the area. The second came from Tallan Burns. Okehampton continued to improve and gave a strong second half performance. Their efforts at training paid off and their superior fitness showed as they dominated the rest of play.
