BRAVE bungee jumpers hurled themselves from a 200ft crane in the carpark of the Leg O Mutton Inn, Yelverton, recently.
A crowd of onlookers watched as eleven thrill-seekers took on the challenge, many of them raising money for charity.
The event itself raised £180 for the Children's Hospice South West.
Iain Boulter, joint owner of the pub, said the money would be added to donations collected for the hospice behind the bar.
'It was a very good evening, and everyone enjoyed themselves,' he said. 'The weather held off for us - it started to rain just as the crane was packed away!'
She said: 'It was the first time I've ever bungee jumped, and it was pretty scary, but I was OK on my second jump.'
The money Debby raised will go towards learning aid equipment to help youngsters with their balance, such as bikes. It was added to £1,000 already raised by her colleagues for the cause.
