Meavy Garden Society is hosting a lecture in celebration of its 50th anniversary.

The lecture, entitled 'Using Bulbs in the Garden' by Lady Christine Skelmersdale, of Broadleigh Gardens in Taunton, will take place in Meavy Parish Hall on September 17. Doors will open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Entry is by ticket, £3 for non-members. Contact 01822 852984 or 01822 852672.
