PLANS for a new builders' merchant facility in Okehampton has been recommended for approval by West Devon planning officers.

Wreyland Developments Ltd has applied for permission for a new building on the North Road Industrial Estate. The application will go before West Devon Borough Council's planning committee next Tuesday at the request of Cllr Edna Hicks, on the grounds of traffic and highways concerns.
