YEAR 1 pupils from Okehampton Primary braved the underground mine train, dressed up in Victorian clothes and experienced life in a Victorian classroom during a recent visit to Morwellham Quay. Morwellham is an award-winning museum attraction which forms part of a World Heritage site, featuring a historic port, village, copper mine and railway.

Pictured are the children from Okehampton Primary School turn back the clock as they dress in period costume at Morwelham’s historic quay, on the banks of the River Tamar.
