THEY climbed England's highest mountain — now best friends Janie Henderson and Tracey Vernon are again raising funds for The National Autistic Society by holding a quiz tonight (Thursday) at Linkinhorne. Janie from Golberdon and Tracey from Callington raised £600 when they climbed Scafell Pike and are now hoping to beat that with the quiz and raffle at the Church House starting at 8pm. The women chose to support the NAS because they both work with children with autism: 'Janie said: 'Climbing Scafell Pike was a real challenge, but knowing we were helping the over half a million people in the UK with autism spurred us on to reach the top. 'We're really looking forward to the quiz and have secured some fantastic raffle prizes from local businesses, including a one-month membership for two to St Mellion Golf and Country Club and Co-op supermarket vouchers. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the quiz.'
