Well over 100 contestants entered the Friends of Chagford School's fundraising quiz in the Jubilee Hall with more than 20 teams battling for the title.

Proving that turning up and entering into the spirit of an event has its own rewards, 'Team LA' — Rhys Aven, Alex Muir and Alex Brown all former Chagford School pupils, scooped up the booby prizes of tins of fish — said to be excellent brain food! 

The evening raised more than £600 and a good time was had by all players.
