BOXES for the purpose of segregating recycling and refuse for collection, were issued in November and October to West Devon Borough Council.

This locality did not receive their boxes on initial issue and in spite of hastening on four occasions and promises to issue them at the earliest date with varying excuses, no boxes have been supplied, the exception being my neighbour who very recently occupied Laburnum Cottage and brought her box from Peter Tavy!

In the meantime the refuse is being misappropriated and environmental requirements are not being upheld.

Will the council please rectify this sorry state of affairs and comply with its own requirements?
