Weston Mill OV U14s girls 2

Tavistock CFC U14s girls 3

TAVISTOCK started slow, making silly mistakes and it was Weston who scored first. Town went on the offensive in search of an equaliser and finished the half stronger.

Tavistock came out and continued to press the Weston Mill defence. Jess Bould-Lynch caused the Mill defence problems as they couldn't deal with her pace or trickery and she scored an equaliser. Moments later though Tavistock were behind again.

Tavistock's midfield of Jess Eales, Sophie Bould-Lynch and captain Heather Wright started to get the team ticking again, creating chances for the front two of Jess Bould-Lynch and Shannon Fisher.

With five minutes to go a long throw from Jess Bould-Lynch was met in the penalty area by Fisher who headed over the keeper to score Tavistock's second. With the game back at level terms any last minute pressure was dealt with by Keeper Ellie Oaten and her defence of Beth Alford, Beth Lamerton and Emily Quick.

With seconds left a great run and pass from Fisher put Bould-Lynch one on one with the Weston Mill keeper, and she rounded her to score her second of the game. This was a great win for Tavistock, who move up two places to sixth.
