ARTS grants of up to £500 are now available from West Devon Borough Council.
Grants awarded are usually given to community organisations whose projects benefit a wide range of people within the borough.
In the past, these small grants have given financial support to the Digital Express Young People?s Project, Wren Music Trust, Tavistock Community Scrapstore and various other community arts projects.
Cllr Nick Morgan, chairman of the economic, leisure and community development committee, said: ?We at West Devon try each year to provide grants as match funding for the arts which enables groups to apply for funding from other agencies.
?I urge all groups to apply if they have any projects they are thinking of that will require
funding.?
Applications must be received at the Tavistock West Devon Borough Council offices at Kilworthy Park by 9am on Monday May 24. Successful applicants will be notified next month.
