STANNARY Brass Band has recently bought a new euphonium, thanks to the generosity of its supporters and a contribution of £500 from Devon Community Foundation (Grassroots grant).

The grant was awarded for the purpose of buying the new  instrument, thereby furthering the band's efforts to educate any young people who may join the band.

The foundation supports activities that help local people and improve community life.
