FOLLOWING your article in the Times of June 16 about the book The Tailor of Frant which was found by a taxi driver and delivered to the Times office, I  have collected the book from the office.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to trace the taxi driver, who delivered it to the Times, to express my gratitude to him and should like to do so through the letters’ page of your paper.   I am so relieved not to have to tell my god-daughter that I have lost the book she gave me after a week.
