They could not have had a better start as Matt Bolton scored straight from the kick-off with only a few seconds gone. Within ten minutes it was two. Blatchford?s corner was met by Peter Gibson, who powered his header in from 12 yards. Tavistock continued their assault on the visitors. Following a good move involving Martin and Collicott, Blatchford?s cross was met again by the head of Gibson, to score from a tight angle. Just before the break Dean Wood scored through Wood to make the half time score 4-1. The second half never really got going as Tavistock allowed the visitors back into this game with a well taken penalty. Matt Bolton then scored twice in as many minutes, before the visitors also got two. But the last 15 minutes were all Tavistock again, as Bolton bagged his fourth and Chris Hamilton got his second to make Tavistock?s final tally eight.
