A TABBY and white cat has been reunited with her family after going missing for almost two months.

Bo went missing from Horrabridge on January 24 leaving her distraught family searching for her day and night.

Jennie Woods, Charlie Griffith and their two children Samuel, 2, and Arabella, 1, were devastated by Bo's disappearance and did everything they could to try and find her, including setting up a Facebook page called 'Finding Bo'.

They never gave up hope and even with a few false leads they remained positive.

On the morning of Friday, March 21 Jennie updated the Facebook page reminding people to keep Bo in mind — but little did she know she would have Bo back in her arms that evening.

She was found in Laira, Plymouth, 15 miles away, by a family who noticed Bo looking very underweight.

They gave her some food — resulting in Bo not wanting to leave the door step. The family from Laira called Plymouth Cats Rescue, a small charity in Mutley, which took Bo in.

Thanks to Bo's microchip, the charity was able to reunite the Horrabridge family with their lost cat.

Jennie said: 'We picked her up within an hour and she was so happy to see us and our other cat — she wants cuddles all the time, and has not been interested to go outside.

'Bo does like to get in cars and I have once before taken her to work.

'It looked like the woman in Laira was the first one to feed her as she was so thin.

'The husband recognised Bo from the Facebook page but didn't think it would be her as it was so far away and she was so skinny.

'We went to the vets on the Saturday morning and she had lost a third of her body weight, she was a bag of bones.

'She has now eaten loads and she has picked her weight up so quickly — there is already a massive difference.

'We are so lucky she is back. I had always hoped she would come back but I didn't think it would happen.

'To some people they are just a cat but to us she is part of the family.'
