WEST Coast Swing meets Chicago South Side Blues in a headlong rush of adrenalin when Paul Lamb and the King Snakes come to the Wharf, Tavistock on Saturday, October 14.

This band has swung itself to the top of the international blues circuit — with an energy and style that takes the audience by storm.

It was Newcastle-born Paul's ambition to create the perfect blues band and so the King Snakes evolved.

He has appeared with the greats like John Mayall, Walter Trout, Mick Taylor and the Blues Band at the Bishopstock Festival. The band has become essential booking for any diary be it festival, theatre, club or concert hall — and whenever they perform they raise the roof. Their style ranges from traditional country blues to the more contemporary sound as well as the rhythmic sounds of rockabilly to jump and swing.
