COMMUNITY wind band Blowzone is on the lookout for some brass players and drummers to join in.

The band, which has about 45 members, rehearses fortnightly at Tavistock College on a Thursday evening. Musical director Stephen Smith said the repertoire ranges from Sousa marches to music from films and shows.

?We play at local events and for charity. It is a fun thing and all ages and abilities are accepted,? he said.
