A TAVISTOCK man is to run the Plymouth half-marathon blindfolded in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind. Sandy Bokan will run the 13-mile race with his assistant Sarah on Saturday, May 28 in association with sports shop, Active Co of Tavistock. Anyone who wishes to help Sandy in raising money for the charity could also have a chance at winning a £50 gift voucher to spend at the sports shop. All people need to do is guess how long it will take Sandy and Sarah to complete the race. The guess will cost £1 and all proceeds will be going towards the charity. Entry forms are available from Active Co on 14 Market Street in Tavistock.
