A BLIND woman from Tavistock is appealing for information to reunite her with a blind man she met in the
Co-op on Market Street, Tavistock recently.
Judy Wilkinson said she met a man called Mr Rice last week and has been hoping she would get the chance to speak to him again after they forgot to exchange telephone numbers.
Judy said: ‘He told me he goes to the pet shop quite often with his dog so I went there and left a note but I haven’t had any luck.
‘We were talking about all sorts of things when we met as we have the same kind of blindness. He told me he had his dog for two years – he said he likes taking it on long walks and that it changed his life.
‘I have a talking tablet and was talking to him about that too but we forgot to exchange telephone numbers and I haven’t seen him since. I would really like to meet him again. He told me that he lives in Tavistock – I think he said Crelake Park.’
If you are Mr Rice, or you know him, and would like to get in touch with Ms Wilkinson contact the Times office.
