TAVISTOCK dominated the opening 25 minutes and raced into a three goal lead.
Vanstone?s cross from the left was met by Hamilton to head in from eight yards.
Blatchford?s pace then unlocked the away defence as he slotted away the second. Within minutes his pace caught them out again for his second in as many minutes.
Tavistock then eased off and Friendship pulled back two quick goals to put them back in the game.
But any hopes they had were gone just before the break as Blatchford banged in his third for a first class hat trick.
The second period was more closely fought as the visitors never gave up. Williams? 20 yard strike in the final 10 minutes sealed the cup tie for the home side, but there was still time for the visitors to score a consolation goal.
Tavistock now move into the next round with a home tie against Plymouth Rangers or Lamerton.
