TICKETS for the annual Meldon Christmas Charity Ball are now on sale.

The extravagant ball is set to take place on Saturday December 8.

This year all proceeds from the event will go to support North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team to help fund its new centre.

The night is a great opportunity for ladies to get dressed to the nines and wear their best frocks while gentleman are requested to come in formal black tie.

Tickets to the ball, held in Meldon Village Hall, cost £12 and include a buffet.

There will be no tickets available on the door so tickets must be purchased in advance.
