JULY has seen another excellent jujutsu seminar taking place. The guest instructor was a familiar face for the Ryu Ju Jutsu Tavistock, Billy Doak Shihan 7th dan Goshin Ju Jitsu, who shared his vast knowledge with the many students present.

The tiring but enjoyable seminar was followed by the annual barbecue.

Sensei Umberto Bergonzini said: ?Ju jutsu is not just about learning a martial art or self-defence system but also a way to meet new people and make friends.?

The club meets on Tuesdays between 7.30pm and 9pm and Thursdays between 8pm and 9pm. Anyone interested in joining can contact Umberto on (01822) 618952 or come to one of the classes which are held in the dance studio at Tavistock College.
