DELICIOUS cream teas will be on offer at a special fundraising event in Whitchurch this month. The Friends of Children?s Hospice South West is holding a Big Cream Tea afternoon at The Old School in Whitchurch on Friday September 22, between 2.30pm and 4.30pm. The event is open to children and adults of all ages ? not just clients from the children?s centre ? and all proceeds will be donated to Children?s Hospice South West. Cream for the event has kindly been donated by Rodda?s ? all are welcome to attend the tea, which costs just £2.50. Tickets are available at Whitchurch PO. The afternoon forms part of the annual fundraising Children?s Hospice Week.
