FOLLOWING an extremely successful production of HMS Pinafore members of Tavistock Musical Theatre Company are now eagerly looking forward to their next production — My Fair Lady.
One of the most popular musicals of all time, the recent smash-hit revival of My Fair Lady in London's West End, has been playing to packed houses. This will be the first time the musical has been staged in Tavistock and will be the biggest musical production the company has ever put on with a budget of more than £7,000.
Singing rehearsals start on Wednesday, July 3, at Kingdon House, Tavistock, from 7.30pm. Workshops will be held at Kingdom House on Wednesday evenings throughout June, at 7.30pm, prior to the commencement of full rehearsals. New members will be especially welcome.
Open auditions will be held towards the end of July for principal parts including the key roles of Eliza and Alfred Dolittle and Henry Higgins.
My Fair Lady will be presented at the Wharf, Tavistock, at the end of October.
