HUNGRY employees in Tavistock munched their way into the money as they raised more than £100 for Cancer Research UK last week.
West Devon Homes were just one of the companies chewing for charity as part of a nationwide fundraising campaign centred around benevolent breakfasts.
Administration officer Julia Dawson, who cooked up the big breakfast bonanza, said: ?It?s a fantastic idea and everyone has enjoyed it. West Devon Homes sponsored us by paying for the food so all the donations we get will go straight to Cancer Research UK.
?We?ve raised well over £100 so far.?
Receptionist Kate McCormick was so impressed with the idea she cooked an extra breakfast for her friends and neighbours, raising a further £130 for the charity.
She said: ?The charity does so much good work ? it?s nice to be able to get involved and do something to help.?
