THE first Beer Festival to be held at the Finch Foundry in Sticklepath will take place on Saturday, June 19.
The National Trust has collaborated with the North Devon branch of The Campaign for Real Ale to stage the event, which it is hoped will become an annual event.
The festival will run from 11am to 8pm and feature a selection of local real ales and cider. A hog roast is also planned and light refreshments will be available from the foundry tearoom.
The foundy will be open and the water-powered machinery demonstrated as usual. Normal admission charges.
