Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service were called to a property fire in Tamar Close in Callington on Wednesday of last week.

Appliances from Callington and Saltash attended the fire which was in an upstairs bedroom.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire, then ventilated the property using a pressure fan and carried out salvage work.

West Country Ambulance attended and carried out a precautionary check on one person at the scene.
