A BEAUTIFUL garden in Belstone will be open to the public on Sunday February 26 for the popular Snowdrop Sunday gardening event.
More than 60 different varieties will be in bloom in the garden, including prime examples of Ophelia, Cordelia, Merlin and Robin Hood snowdrops. There will also be an assortment of hellebores and cyclamen.
The event is being hosted by the Belstone and Area Friends Group of the Children's Hospice South West to raise money for the charity. The group hosts the event annually.
There will be CHSW promotional goods for sale, along with hot soup and bread, pasties, and hot drinks and cakes. There will also be snowdrops, cyclamen and hellebores on sale, subject to availability.
For those who prefer to observe the beautiful surroundings from the warmth of the indoors, there will be space inside for people to enjoy refreshments and look out on the garden in relative comfort.
Snowdrop Sunday takes place at Andrew's Corner on Skaigh Lane from 11am to 4pm.
