LEW Trenchard Primary School pupils were lucky to experience four weeks of 'Djembe' West African drumming recently.

A spokesman for the school said Martin Kent was a 'fantastic inspiration' and at the end of the period. the entire school put on a performance for parents and staff.

He said: 'The show was full of enthusiasm, determination and vigour which demonstrated perfectly how much everyone had enjoyed the sessions.

'We all hope that we get another chance to do something similar again in the near future.'

The school expressed thanks to Martin Kent and Devon LDP music funding for enabling the event to be staged.
