THIS Saturday, Devon Bear Beer will be launched exclusively at the Halfway House Inn at Grenofen.

Coinciding with the launch of the Royal British Legion's 2012 Poppy Appeal, landlord Clive Pattison will be donating 10p from each pint sold to the appeal.

'Devon Bear' resides most of the time in the bar at the Halfway House Inn, but has been on tour with 4AAC and 42 Commando Regiment to Afghanistan on 4 occasions, and is due to go off again with 42 Regt shortly.

The beer is brewed by new micobrewery Tavy Ales and owners Mark Smith and Janna Sanders are pleased to be able to be part of this fund raising event.

The beer will be officially launched at 6pm, and all are welcome to the event.
