POLICE have this week issued a warning to all shop owners in West Devon, after reports were received of forged £20 notes circulating in the area. The forged notes are in the style of the new £20 notes, and the watermark of the Queen?s head is described as being ?not well done?. Police are asking shop owners to make sure all staff are aware and to check notes carefully. Anyone with information should call 08452 777444 and quote police log number 353 151207.
