A TAVISTOCK-based bed and breakfast has raised £400 for a South West charity.

The money was raised by Sandra Callaghan (far left), of April Cottage Bed and Breakfast in Mount Tavy Road.

The money was raised through coffee mornings, raffles and bring and buy sales during last year. It has been donated to the Children's Hospice South West.

Noreen Downey, whose grandson attends the children's hospice, received the donations on behalf of the charity.

Sandra expressed thanks to all her friends, especially the ladies of Tavistock Slimming World Club, as without them the money would not have been raised.
