THE Morchard Bishop Sports Club will shortly play host to a major fundraising event to raise funds for the football and sports club.

Thirteen-piece live band, 'The Loose Cannons' will perform at the club, and hog roasts, BBQs, buffets, discos and raffles are also planned for the day.

Organisers are hoping for a good turnout, and if it proves popular it is likely the event will return on an annual basis.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 24 from 6.30pm to 1am.

Free parking will be available. Tickets will cost £20 for adults and £2.50 for children over 5, with under 5s going free.
